On Thursday 8th November, Year 5 reached for the stars by visiting the Space Centre in Leicester. From experiencing what it would be like to live in a Lunar Module to learning more about the Mars Rover- Bruno, the children were totally captivated by all aspects of space. A particular highlight was the visit to the Planetarium, where they were able to take a tour of the night sky and learn more about the planets. The children’s behaviour was of a high standard and we were very proud of how they represented our school. We would like to thank all of the parent volunteers, who gave up their spare time to make this day such a memorable experience.
