Today, Year 3 went to Bishops Wood to kick-start our topic all about the stone age.  We spent the day finding out what it was like to live thousands of years ago.  We built our own shelter from mammoth skin and willow branches, we hunted for our lunch, we weaved walls, ground flour and made fishing nets.  We also had a go at making fire with flint and steel.  We realised that life was much harder back then and it would have been a struggle to survive!
