This week, the children in Key Stage 1 enjoyed their very first Spelling Bee Competition! All children worked very hard to compete in the heats in classrooms on Tuesday and four children from each year group were selected to compete in the final on Thursday. The children were fabulous and all gave their best to spell some really tricky words out loud in traditional Spelling Bee Style. Congratulations to our Year 1 winner -Tahlia in 1H, and our joint Year 2 winners-Thomas in 2B and Lacey in 2S. Also, a huge well done to our other finalists :Toby (1H), Grayson (1P), Francesca (1P), Mikey (2S) and Olivia (2B). This will be a half termly event so watch out for the next set of Spelling Bee spellings sent before Christmas.
