In Miss Adams’ maths class, the children have been investigating different types of angles. They have discovered that an acute angle is less that 90°, a right angle is 90° and is formed at perpendicular lines and that an obtuse angle is an angle that is more than 90° but less that 180°. Some children took their angle investigating further and found out that the angles on a straight line equal 180° and a reflex angle is more that 180° but less than 360°. Armed with this new knowledge, the children went on the hunt to find angles within the classroom and used their reasoning skills to identify the angles before telling each other what angle they had discovered, explaining their answers clearly and concisely. Well done!
