5T performed an explosive song to wake up the audience as the start of their class assembly. The children entertained the audience by performing a poem called ‘Six ways to look at the moon’ followed by a short video of them reading their own innovated versions of the poem. Throughout the assembly, the children taught the audience about the key features of poetry including similes, metaphors, personification and onomatopoeia. Mrs Taylor was very proud of their enthusiasm and loud, clear voices. Well done!poem-1 poem-2 poem-3 poem-4 poem
