On Wednesday, a team of 8 Year 4 children – 4 boys and 4 girls – and Miss Adams ventured to Kings Norton Girls School to compete against local schools across a range of individual and team athletic events – including: 50m sprints, standing long jump and javelin.
With a multitude of 1st and 2nd placings (Emma & Kara 1st and 2nd in 400m, James & Zebby 1st and 2nd in standing long jump and Tyerell & Ben/Zebby 1st and 2nd in javelin), Cotteridge secured a 4th place finish and conducted themselves in an exemplary manner, with some children receiving ‘Respect’ School Games badges.
