Year 6 recently went on a visit to Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare.
We had a drama workshop at the RSC Theatre looking at A Midsummer Night’s Dream which helped us to understand this play in more depth. We have brought away with us some drama exercises to help us with our upcoming production too!
We used maps to navigate our way round this town, visiting the significant buildings and landmarks linked to William Shakespeare and his family.
An excellent day was had by all and the weather was on our side, allowing up to enjoy a picnic by the river!
