We were visited by Paul, a road safety officer from Birmingham City Council on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. He ran workshops for each class as part of our school’s Road Safety Campaign and will be back next week to visit RB and RP.
The children were fully engaged in the interactive workshops whilst learning how to stay safe on and near the roads. Paul covered topics such as the rules for car seats, the importance of cycle helmets and crossing roads safely. The children learned about people who help us and wearing hi-vis clothing ‘Be safe, be seen!’
