The children in Reception have been very lucky to have lots of visitors to talk to them about their topic; ‘People Who Help Us’.
We had Fire Officers, Police Officers, a Doctor and a Veterinary Nurse
The children got to dress up like a veterinary nurse and bandage a toy dog’s leg with special bandages.
The children asked lots of questions about how the body works and got to have a go with a stethoscope.
The children talked to the police officers about how to keep safe and what they used their equipment for.
The fire fighters showed us all their equipment and what they have to wear. They also showed us the fire engine and even sounded the siren!
