6PE took their assembly audience on a journey back to the 1940’s. They delivered a wealth of information about life during World War 2 through their acting of an air raid experience and being evacuated to the countryside, as well as presenting facts about why the war broke out. The songs engaged the audience and the White Cliffs Of Dover even brought a tear to some parents’ eyes! The scenery looked great and the children’s costumes made them look like they had just stepped out of the 1940’s! Well done 6PE.
