The children were all very excited to have a veterinary nurse, Amy, visit them in school and talk to them all about her job.
She talked to them about what she had to wear when she went in theatre and the different equipment she had like the bandages and her stethoscope.
Some of the children had a go at bandaging a toy cat and using all the correct bandages for the job. Good job girls!
Some other children got to dress up in the different uniforms. They very much look the part!
We even got to see a picture of an animal she had recently looked after and it was a huge lizard! It’s hand was bigger than Amy’s hand!
The children and staff all loved it and were very inspired!
