Four budding mathematicians from Year 4 attended the prestigious ‘Borcherds Shield’ Maths Challenge at King Edwards Secondary School.
Emma, Tyerell, Kai and Matilda attended the event on Friday 10th February and they faced a tough challenge against many other schools from the Birmingham area.
The mathematicians represented Cotteridge showing pride, perseverance and passion. They demonstrated their deep and varied mastery of Maths and all of these qualities added up to Cotteridge achieving a second place finish! (Finishing ahead of local schools Bournville (4th) and Monks Path (3rd).
We are all very proud of their achievement! Well done!
