Year 3 had an amazing time at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery today, visiting the Ancient Egypt gallery and taking part in a workshop to handle artefacts!
Everybody was shocked to see a REAL MUMMY! Then we were all able to touch real Ancient Egyptian artefacts, like a mirror, an amulet and a statue. We literally held history in our hands!
We also took the opportunity to look around the other galleries, including the Staffordshire Hoard and the Roman and Greek artefacts.
We had a fantastic day and can’t wait to learn more!
